The 2016 Honda Civic Sedan has proven to be at the top of its game when it comes to safety even earning a Top Safety Pick + rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. Part of what earned this model the rating was its available Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS) which is part of the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver-assist technologies. The Honda Sensing™ is available on the LX, EX, EX-T and EX-L trims and comes standard on the Touring trim. This suite is made up of several different advanced safety technologies that are designed to keep you traveling in top safety.

Honda has announced that they have released four new videos that each feature one of the technologies that are included in the Honda Sensing™ suite. These videos are each around a minute and a half long and they offer step-by-step descriptions of each of the technologies and their function in the 2016 Honda Civic Sedan.

The Four Videos Include:

  • Collision Mitigation Braking System, with Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
  • Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS)
  • Road Departure Mitigation (RDM), with Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Low-Speed Follow

You can watch all four videos here.
