D'ELLA Honda of Glens Falls

Honda knows that no matter how incredible a vehicle looks or what it comes equipped with that for most drivers, the feeling they get behind the wheel is generally the deciding factor. Knowing this, the brand has worked to design and build vehicles that offer a feeling that stays with them and makes a real impression.  This has been cleverly reflected by the brand in a newly released advertisement for the Honda Civic.

In the advertisement above we see the all-new Civic traveling along three different roads but the images have been slowed down. While in slow-motion, Honda engineers are seen working to make the moment perfect by including road splatter, butterflies, birds and more in order to provide the driver with one instant of perfection. The spot ends with the voiceover saying “Some say the most powerful thing you can build is a feeling”.

Check out the video above to see this beautifully executed advertisement and to get an up close look at the new Civic.

As society continues to grow and evolve, the future of mobility is constantly changing and adapting, meaning that automakers everywhere are constantly looking to develop new and improved technologies for this ever-changing world. Honda, of course is no exception to this mentality, a fact that was outlined by Honda R&D Americas, Inc. President, Frank Paluch in a keynote speech that he recently delivered at the 2015 SAE World Congress.

In his address, outlined the next 50 years of innovation for Honda and the automotive industry in general. A few of the key innovations that he highlighted include advanced collision mitigation capabilities, vehicle-to-vehicle and vehicle-to-infrastructure connectivity, fuel cell vehicles, high-speed, low-carbon, zero-collision mobility and more.

“Our role as engineers, as an industry, isn’t simply to pursue incremental advances for short-term competitive advantages in sales, or profit or market share,” said Paluch. “Our more enduring challenge is to transform the fundamental nature of the products we make to realize game-changing innovation.”

These are some of the key points he stressed for Honda’s Development Future:

By 2020 – Accidents involving Honda vehicles will be reduced by 50% through an omni-directional safety system connecting vehicles, infrastructure and humans.

By 2030 – All road users including bicyclists, pedestrians and motorcycle riders will be joined through connectivity.

by 2040 – Connectivity will lead to the development of accident-free Honda vehicles.

By 2050 – Relational capabilities and advanced sensing will be used through a network of intelligent, interconnected machines to create a “Cooperative Car Society”.

A new advertisement called “Endless Road” has been released by Honda featuring the all-new Honda CR-V, the brand’s most advanced ever. In the advertisement, we are given a mesmerizing illusion of the vehicle traveling in circles around the same road again and again. This visual is meant to depict the brand’s mentality that the road to developing the perfect vehicle is never-ending.

Adding to the ever-growing list of awards and accolades, the Honda Accord Hybrid can now add two-time KBB.com’s 10 Best Green Car to its resume. Giving drivers amazing fuel-economy and sports car-like performance is not an easy feat to manage, but the Accord Hybrid has done it. The technology behind this achievement is a two-motor system from the Honda EarthDreams® Technology powertrain lineup.

The 2015 Honda Accord Hybrid has also been named “Green Car of the Year” by Green Car Journal, and a Best New Car of 2015 by about.com. As for safety awards, this model has a 5-star Overall Vehicle Score from NHTSA and was named a “Top Safety Pick” by the IIHS.

Saturday Night Line features several of the show’s fan favorite castmates such as Bobby Moynihan, Kenan Thompson and Aidy Bryant engaging in some impromptu activities with a few lucky fans waiting in line.
