2017 Honda Civic Hatchback Arriving Soon
“The Civic Hatch has been a staple for Honda in Europe, but has long been the forbidden fruit for Honda fans in the U.S.,” said Jeff Conrad, senior vice president and general manager of the Honda Division of American Honda Motor Co., Inc. “Now, we’re bringing this sporty, stylish and versatile Civic Hatchback to North America, as we amp up the performance of our incredible Civic lineup with each new Civic model.”
We don’t know about you, but D’ELLA Honda of Glens Falls has been waiting forever to hear those words! That’s right, the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback will finally make its debut on U.S. soil, arriving this fall in North America. Following the tenth-generation Honda Civic Lineup, which includes the Civic Sedan and Coupe, the Civic Hatchback offers European styling, five-door versatility, and powerful Honda performance.
Each model will be equipped with a 1.5L Turbo Engine that generates 174 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. The sophisticated interior offers premium touches and an abundance of room, including class-leading volume/cargo capacity and best rear seat legroom. The Honda Sensing™ safety technologies will also be available, along with Heated Front Seats and Side Mirrors, Power Driver and Front-Passenger Seats, Honda Display Audio with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™, and a Remote Engine Start.

While the 2017 Honda Ridgeline is still pretty new to the truck market, it is quickly converting people who otherwise identify as “not really truck people.” One of these people is Peter Valdes-Dapena, the automotive writer at CNN. Dapena admitted that while he never pictured himself owning a truck, the 2017 Honda Ridgeline has changed his mind.
The major different between the Ridgeline and its competitors is that the Ridgeline has the capability and utility of a truck, with the comfort, style, and convenience of a car or SUV. Its performance is smooth and responsive, while other trucks often wobble and shake on the road. It also offers unique storage options, like the lockable watertight trunk which is built into the truckbed, so you can secure your belongs and keep them protected.
Dapena concludes, “The Ridgeline is a completely different, better-equipped and a more flexible, livable vehicle than a base-level [competitor truck]. For people who might not ordinarily considering buying a truck, I think I have found your truck.”

Honda’s Week of Service
This June, Honda celebrated its first annual Honda Week of Service by helping families and communities across the country. Over 16,000 volunteers participated in a number of outreach programs and community service all over North America. From June 10th to the 19th, volunteers in Canada, Mexico, and 41 states participated in 425 activities, and the results were astounding.
Because of the amazing volunteers, 3,000 families were fed, 60,000 canned goods and meals were provided, 2,500 children were given school supplies, 200 animals were adopted, 75 homes were painted, 350 bags of trash were collected, 600 pints of blood were drawn, and donations reached $75,000 dollars!
“We are so thankful to our associates and business partners who took time out to help improve the lives of people in the communities where we live and work,” said Executive Vice President Rick Schostek, Honda North America, Inc. “This week was an example of what can happen when a team of people come together to help their neighbors.”

The Honda Dream Track is out to make the wildest car dreams of Honda fans come true! Honda has asked its Twitter followers to submit their wildest and craziest dreams so they can test them out on the 2016 Honda Civic Coupe. After getting a lot of zany submissions, Honda decided on five to bring to life. We shared two of the videos with you below. In the first, we see the Civic Coupe take on a giant dinosaur piñata stuffed with glitter. In the second video, the Civic Coupe turns the Dream Track into a giant pinball game.
