Car Buzz Tests Out the New 2016 Honda Civic

The Honda Civic has always been an iconic vehicle in the United States, known for its practicality and efficiency, but the 10th-generation is offering much more and turning even more heads. After it received the nomination for the prestigious 2016 North American Car of the Year, Honda gave Car Buzz a brand new 2016 four-door Honda Civic Touring so they could test out this spectacular vehicle for themselves.

It didn’t take long for Car Buzz to recognize everything the all-new Civic had to offer. They were pleasantly surprised with the powerful yet smooth delivery the 174 horsepower 1.5 LIter Turbo Four-Cylinder Engine offered. However, they were even more impressed with the LED headlights and taillights, and the lower, wider, and longer stances that gave the redesigned Civic and athletic exterior. Inside the cabin, they noted it was spacious and enjoy the well-appointed features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and heated front and rear seats. Car Buzz expected the Civic to be safe, but admitted it was no question why the Civic was an IIHS Top Safety Pick+ with the Honda Sensing Package which includes the Lane Keeping Assist System,Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning System, and Road Departure Mitigation.

“Honda has taken the Civic back to its roots, creating a car that’s fun to drive and easy on the eyes. It’s also ridiculously safe, fuel-efficient, practical to a fault and pretty damn cheap with an entry level model (the LX six-speed manual) coming in at $18,640. If all that isn’t worthy of an award then what the hell is?”
