The all-new 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid will be launching this spring and the brand is already anticipating that sales for this new model will be more than double their previous record of 14,000 units which was achieved back in 2014. This newest version has been completely updated in terms of efficiency, style, and performance, a winning combination that is sure to garner some significant attention.

The 2017 Accord Hybrid will be powered by a second-generation two-motor hybrid powertrain that offers three driving modes, EV Drive, Hybrid Drive, and Engine Drive. Additionally, this system offers best-in-class EPA fuel economy ratings of 49 MPG city/ 47 MPG highway*.

In terms of style upgrades, this model now offers 13.5 cu.-ft of trunk space, a special aluminum hood and wheels, “Hybrid” exterior badging, blue highlighted LED headlights, and Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure.

The three trim level options on the 2017 Honda Accord Hybrid will be the Hybrid, Hybrid EX-L, and Hybrid Touring. Some standard features on all trims include remote engine start, a wide-angle rearview camera, and Honda Sensing™, which comes with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Collision Mitigation Braking System™ (CMBS™), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Lane Keeping Assist (LKAS), and Road Departure Mitigation (RDM).

Features available on the higher trim levels include front and rear parking sensors, a 7-inch Display Audio touchscreen with Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® compatibility, and heated rear seats.

“The new Honda Accord Hybrid is the ultimate Accord – the most refined, technologically sophisticated and, of course, most fuel efficient in the lineup,” said John Mendel, Executive Vice President of the American Honda Motor Co., Inc. “With Accord already America’s most popular car three years running and the best-selling midsize car to younger buyers, we think this new hybrid model will add considerable momentum for the Honda brand.”
