The Team Honda Research-West racing team has had the spotlight put on them for Honda’s newest “What Makes A Honda is Who Makes A Honda” segment. This 12-Part series has been released each month in order to highlight an exceptional Honda employee that makes a significant contribution to Honda as well as their local community. For this new installment, however, Honda chose to highlight a team of individuals rather than a single employee. In the segment, you see this team preparing to take part in the United States’ longest sportscar endurance race, the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) 25 Hours of Thunderhill. "Racing is very much a part of our DNA," said Sage Marie, senior manager of Public Relations for Honda North America and co-driver of one of the THR-W Acuras. "It's part of the fabric of our organization so the associates here have that racing spirit in them."
KBB.com Awards Two Honda Models
Two Honda vehicles have been awarded by Kelley Blue Book (KBB.com) with Best Resale Value Awards. KBB.com gives out these awards each year based on their determination of which vehicles have the ability to retain the highest overall resale value within the vehicle’s first five years of ownership in comparison with its original MSRP. These awards take general wear and tear into account in order to help inform car buyers which models they can expect to retain its value the best over time. "The Fit is a premium small car with a healthy appetite for passengers and cargo, representing tremendous value well beyond its exterior footprint," said David Hendley, assistant vice president of sales at American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "It's great to see the all-new Fit, our brand's entry model, join the much-honored CR-V among KBB.com's Best Resale Value Award winners this year." 2015 Honda Vehicles Awarded: 2015 Honda CR-V – Top 10 Best Resale Value vehicles in America 2015 Honda Fit – Best Resale Value: Subcompact Car
