The 2016 Honda Pilot comes equipped with a variety of new advanced driver-assist technologies that have been designed to make your travel experience more smooth and hassle-free. In order to highlight all of these impressive new technologies, the brand has released a series of videos on their YouTube page that each focus on the capabilities of one of these new features. Below we have two of these videos for you and you can look out for some of the additional videos in future blogs. The first video below focuses on the Rain-Sensing Windshield Wipers that are available on the 2016 Pilot. These unique wipers have been designed to automatically adjust their speed based on the amount of rain detected on your windshield. Therefore, you can focus on your driving rather than on trying to properly adjust the speed and frequency of your windshield wipers the next time you get caught in the rain. The second video focuses on the Car Wash Mode that is available on the 2016 Honda Pilot Touring or Elite trims. This new model has been designed specifically for conveyer-style car washes where there is no driver inside the vehicle as it goes through the car wash. When you purchase a new Honda vehicle you will be driving off in a high quality vehicle that will keep you traveling smooth, safe and efficient for years to come. In order to help keep you safe and provide you with peace of mind while on the road, every new Honda model comes with Honda Roadside Assistance. The Roadside Assistance Plan coincides with the vehicle's 3-year/35,000-mile-warranty, therefore the assistance lasts as long as the warranty. Here we have highlighted some of the key points of the Honda Roadside Assistance Plan but stop by and see us here at D’ELLA Honda for any further questions. The Roadside Assistance is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in order to ensure that you can receive help anytime, anywhere. Some of the services covered under the Honda Roadside Assistance plan include: Jump Start Flat Tire Accident Tow Lockout Winching Mechanical Two Fuel Delivery* The emergency towing is available 24 hours and your vehicle will be towed to the nearest Honda dealer. For lockout services, Honda Roadside Assistance will help you out in the event that your keys are lost, stolen, broken or locked inside you car. Along with the previously mentioned services, the Honda Roadside Assistance plan also provides Trip Interruption coverage in case mechanical disablement prevents you from reaching your destination. In order to qualify for this coverage, you must become stranded at least 100 miles or more away from your primary residence and the maximum reimbursement is $300 ($100 per three days max). Other services provided through trip interruption include: Alternate Transportation, Rental Vehicle** Message Relay Hotel Reservations** Enhanced Directory Assistance Airline Information *Two gallons provided, not to exceed twice in a calendar year. The video covers Alex McNeely, a process engineer at Honda Manufacturing of Indiana, Alex McNeeley. He has an inspiring drive to “always be better.” His commitment was responsible to his success at his job and is worth learning from!

At the 2015 North American International Auto Show in January 2015, the Honda FCV Concept will make its official North American debut.  This newest concept model was developed with the innovative fuel cell vehicle technology that Honda has been working to develop further for the last several years.The brand plans to launch a new fuel-cell model in the beginning of 2016, the FCV offers a glimpse at what we should expect from that new model. Stylistic features on the FCV concept include a more aerodynamic look and feel with features such as clean character lines and a low and wide body style.  This model also offers several powertrain packaging options and has seating for up to five passengers. Honda recently donated a total of $1.3 million to First Element Fuel in order to assist with the building of hydrogen refueling stations across California when this concept vehicle made its official world debut on November 17, 2014 in Japan.
