As of July 8th, the 2015 Honda Fit and 2015 Honda CR-V have been named the most satisfying vehicles in their individual markets for AutoPacific’s customer driven 2015 Vehicle Satisfaction Award. The Honda Fit proved its popularity with double-digit increases in sales each month since October 2014 and is up 63 percent throughout the year. The CR-V is continuing its run as America’s best-selling SUV while setting its all-time sales record for the first half of 2015 at 163,018 vehicles sold. The editors of Cars.com, MotorWeek and USA Today have selected the 2015 Honda CR-V as the winner in their recent Compact SUV Challenge. To be eligible for this challenge, a vehicle had to have a starting MSR of less than $28,000 and an EPA estimate of at least 26 MPG. A total of seven different vehicles were selected and put through an extensive testing process by the challenge panel that included a mix of real customers and various automotive experts. Overall, the 2015 CR-V was chosen as the winner due to its numerous stylistic upgrades, high fuel efficiency rating, family-friendly technology and performance capabilities. Adding to the ever-growing list of awards and accolades, the Honda Accord Hybrid can now add two-time KBB.com’s 10 Best Green Car to its resume. Two different 2015 Brand Image Awards have been presented to Honda by Kelley Blue Book (KBB.com). The brand received the “Best Overall Brand” for the third year in a row and “Best Value Brand” for the fourth year in a row. These awards are determined by KBB by monitoring the preferences of car shoppers that visit their site in search of new vehicle information each day. The brand/model loyalty and familiarity of these shoppers are monitored through the KBB Market Intelligence Brand Watch Study and the information is then used to determine the winners of the annual Brand Image Awards. For the second consecutive year, the Honda Accord has been awarded by IHS Automotive for having the highest Model Loyalty in the Non-Luxury Traditional Mid-Size Car Segment. These awards are based on a detailed review of personal new vehicle registrations from October 1, 2013 - September 30, 2014. IHS Automotive tracks customer loyalty by analyzing shopping behaviors and tracking how often a customers returns to the market to purchase a vehicle of the same make or model as one that they already own. "Customer loyalty is one of the key measurements of product excellence and customer satisfaction," said John Mendel, executive vice president of sales at American Honda Motor Co., Inc. Edmunds.com named the 2015 Honda Fit as a Top Rated vehicle.  In order to be named as a top rated vehicle vehicle, the model must be put through an extensive series of tests on standardized test loops.  There are also several tests run on the Edmunds test track in controlled conditions.
